4 tall glass cylindrical vases
Red hot candies (about 5-6 bags)
Pepper plant
Large leaves (real or artificial)
Craft glue
Red glitter
Floral wire

1. Fill vases with varying levels of red hots. Cut several stems off of pepper plant. Place stems into vases.
2. Draw numbers onto leaves using craft glue. Then, sprinkle red glitter on glue. Continue numbering leaves (we’ve chosen to write “2010” on ours) and allow to dry for about 30 minutes. (If leaves are too short, you can extend by piercing the bottom stem with floral wire to make taller.)
3. Place leaves in vases and display centerpiece.
